Emily Szajda, published author, chef, yoga/meditation instructor and sports nutritionist left “Corporate America” managing high-volume restaurants in Phoenix, Arizona for an entrepreneurial life focused on finding work/life balance in Europe.

After launching a successful wellness program with Serendip Spa, a sanctuary in the heart of Brussels, Emily worked with the internationally recognized Belgian Beer and Food Magazine, and hosted sumptuous events with Bookalokal. She moved to Barcelona and co-founded BCN Connections, an educational travel company providing continuing education training abroad to RNs and PAs. Emily is the General Manager of The NOW Massage Ashburn, a franchise with its headquarters in Los Angeles, and oversees the operations of a space created to escape the daily pressures of life and recharge one’s energy and spirit through the benefits of massage therapy. In addition to this, Emily works with GBSB Global Business School in Spain and Malta and writes for Basmati. Emily lives in Washington DC where she offers group, corporate and private yoga, meditation, and mindfulness training. She collaborates with recharj® meditation studio and F3 Wellness located in the city. She also provides nutrition counseling to an array of international clients. Emily helps individuals across the globe achieve their health and wellness goals. Emily has trained and taught both in the United States and Europe and hosts international retreats.
