About
Emily’s yoga journey began in 2007 when the loss of her mother prompted her to seek out peace of mind.
Since that time she has tried many styles of yoga, always informing her own home practice through classes, readings, and workshops. She completed her 200hr Hatha teacher training with Bloom Yoga in June 2015 and, inspired by her own experience with yoga and pregnancy, became a registered prenatal yoga instructor (RPYT) in September 2016 with the Amala School of Prenatal Yoga, continuing her studies through a mentorship with Lela Beam. Emily completed Mia Park’s Yoga Nidra teacher training in 2017 and continues to evolve and adapt her study of meditation and visualization to perinatal yoga and birth work. It is Emily’s intention to empower women with Self knowledge, so that they may feel well, wonderful, and shine their beautiful light on the world. Emily continues to study perinatal yoga and birth through workshops and as a labor support and postpartum doula. She is also completing coursework towards licensure as a lactation consultant (IBCLC)
