Ever since I could walk I have found some sort of self-expression through movement I tap danced cheered and was even in marching band After I graduated high school in I was searching for some sort of outlet to stay in shape and to express myself through movement I began my yoga journey in the Summer at Aspire Yoga Center with my mom after my first year of college Over time I discovered that there was so much more to yoga than just movement Yoga has helped me get through tough times like COVID- and an eating disorder I realized that yoga has shown me hope self-love and inner peace and I cannot live without it Through this realization in August I knew that I had to show others the beauty that yoga continues to bring to my life After graduating college in December from the University of Louisiana in Monroe with a Bachelors in Public Relations I was considering some sort of continued education Thanks to the wonderful opportunities my yoga teacher and boss Heather Delia offered me I signed up for the very first -hr Yoga Teacher Training at Aspire Yoga Center the day it was announced to the public The Yoga Teacher Training showed me that I is never alone and I have all the answers I need within myselfI just have to turn in It is now my mission to help guide others to knowing loving and accepting themselves for who they are through the practice of yoga and to continue to find inner peace and acceptance.
