Introduced to yoga through dance, she embraced the practice as a way to feel grounded and centered. After completing graduate studies in student development, counseling, and rehabilitation, Erika became a certified yoga instructor back in 2012, merging her love for movement with holistic education.Her career in higher education has allowed her to guide others through growth and self-discovery, while continuing to teach movement and creative arts keeps her passion alive. Her yoga classes focus on creates space for reflection, movement, and growth together. You can find her teaching at Heartland Yoga in Iowa City.
