with Faith Hunter in 2008. Since her training, Erika has taught internationally. In 2009, Lucy designated Erika in the top 10 instructors in Washington, D.C. Later that year, Erika's class for Warrior's in Transition was written up in the Bavarian Times and she was presented with an award for her work. While expecting her daughter, in 2011, Erika appeared in a Yoga Vibes prenatal yoga online video. Erika is also a published writer and was published by Yoga Journal in the September 2011 issue. In September 2014, Erika led Killeen Does Yoga! a first-time-ever, outdoor community yoga event in Killeen, Tx which drew over 200 people to a one-hour yoga class in Lion's Gate Park. Erika's inspiration for her classes comes from being a student herself having studied vinyasa yoga with Faith Hunter, Iyengar Yoga with Winnie Au, attended workshops with Shiva Rea and Baron Baptiste, and studied at the Shivananda Ashram in Nassau, Bahamas. Erika is a life-long student of classical ballet, and is a pilates mat and reformer teacher, as well as a group fitness instructor. She teaches her students to move with freedom, to breathe, and to sweat. Currently, Erika is teaching in Killeen, TX.
