Sacred Being Yoga was created by Erin Madden Reed to honor the sacredness in all humans through the experiences of yoga and mindfulness.

Erin is committed to supporting her fellow humans on their spiritual journey, and working for social justice and equity. Erin is dedicated to creating spaces for people to experience their sacred wholeness in union of body, mind, and spirt, and the universe. Erin is trained in school based mindfulness practice, and has developed curriculum for mindfulness practices in the classroom and leads workshops in mindfulness for adults and children. Erin began her journey with studying, practicing, and teaching yoga and mindfulness 23 years ago. More recently in 2018, Erin earned her 300 hour trauma sensitive yoga teacher certification from Grand Rapids Healing Yoga, and in 2020 she earned an additional 300 hours of training to be certified as a yoga therapy practitioner from the Body Mind Being Institute. Erin has guided trauma sensitive yoga practices for trauma survivors in both group and individual sessions, as well as community yoga classes. She is a graduate of The Evergreen State College where she studied movement, mind/body practices, and multi-cultural counseling. Erin has dedicated herself to developing and facilitating trainings that support whole well-being through self-care, mind/body connection, social emotional learning, and provide experiences of resilience for helping professionals, educators, children, and communities.
