I began my yoga journey in after participating in my first Chicago Marathon Due to post marathon injury yoga came to play as a type of rehab After sticking with it during the recommended time I fell in love and never looked back Now I use yoga as an ability to connect my mind and body which can sometimes be difficult as I am also living with Multiple Sclerosis I have found that a consistent yoga practice maintaining a "yogic" lifestyle and being physically active and fit as my way to live a healthy life with MS The thing that brings me the most joy is to be able to provide this same benefit of a yoga practice to others Whether it is for physical health or mental health I believe that yoga is the key to overall wellness.
