After being an executive legal assistant in a Lexington law office for over 17 years and after the birth of my daughter, Sophia, I wanted to be closer to home.
I enrolled in the teacher training course at Yoga East in Louisville. After the first class, I knew I was on the right path. After an in depth course of study, practice, internship and leading classes, I graduated from the 2014 Teacher Training class. I have attended workshops by Doug Keller, Francois Rauolt, David Garrigues, Christina Sell, Alex Cleveland and Laura Spaulding. My studies include Ashtanga, Iyengar, Hatha, Gentle Yoga, and Vinyasa. I pull from these styles and all of my amazing teachers at Yoga East to design my classes to be challenging, fun, and accessible for all levels.
