Gabriel Garcia-Merritt

It is my dream to spread this unique approach to life with any that are drawn to it. I began my Yoga journey as a child, taught at home by my mother. After years without practice, I found it again as an adult. This time, however, I was a young man in the miliatry. Yoga provided me with mental strength, as well as physical relief from the aches and pains of a demanding lifestyle. Seeing the seemingly fractured and alarming state of the world, I asked myself how I could make a difference, and I believe that teaching Yoga is one way to change the world into a brighter and more peaceful place. My academic background is in the Humanities, and in particular, how individuals may become part of a larger cultural group. I believe that Yoga may provide both a way to find community, while the individual may also be working on their self in private manner. I hope to continue learning, loving, and living with the help of Yoga, and I am excited to see how you, dear reader, may also travel along the road of discovery with me.
