Gabriele Stauf is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with an approved and active Registered Yoga School (RYS).
Currently, Gabriele is primarily available for retreat co-directing only. Her retreat contribution is centered on the meditative aspects of yoga practices. She can serve as an extra pair of eyes, consultations with participants, and program planning. In leading meditation, she uses her own poetry to invite students to discern the truth they hear within. Earlier Biographical notes: After 21 years of offering yoga to college students and community participants in Bainbridge and Americus, Georgia, Gabriele took a hiatus to Kalani Oceanside Retreat, Hawai'i where she enjoyed learning hula in addition to a focused study of yin yoga and other approaches to yoga for personal self-discovery. After returning to the mainland she served a new community of yoga hopefuls in St. Petersburg, Florida, teaching primarily chair yoga to mature adults living in retirement communities. It is important to note that Gabriele teaches in what is currently designated as "hatha." She has also developed a four week sequence focusing on the endocrine system. The sequence can be taught in four successive evenings, or in an extended weekend mode from Thursday evening to Sunday morning. Please feel free to contact Gabriele for more information.
