GORAKH pronounced AYK- GOH- is a yoga practitioner and meditation teacher with over two decades of practice  Ekras Gorakh is his spiritual name एकरस Ekras means to be one that has dissolved and become one like a crystal of salt that merges back into the ocean and becomes one with it गोरख Gorakh is the name of a legendary yogi who brought more than a hundred new meditation techniques into the world Gorakh also means to be in control of ones senses Ekras was born into a spiritual household In his seeking he has learned from many traditions and these have been incorporated into his own personal sadhana He practices hatha yoga qigong kriya yoga tantra meditations and loves bhakti kirtans and Sufi devotional music As a meditation teacher Ekras is looking for ways to make meditation accessible and practical for everyday house-holders His guided meditation podcasts Ekras Living Meditations are designed to bring meditation into the everyday schedule with meditations for the coffee break commute return from work and other times in the day He also teaches a course on Meditation for Work Without Distractions because he believes that if youre not meditating youre not giving all your attention to your work Ekras also teaches yoga asanas at the Bay Area largest Hindu temple at Livermore California You are welcome to attend this open and free class Ekras worldly name is Gaurav Rastogi He is also a loving husband father of two lovely kids author of two business books and an entrepreneur with his own startup He has an MBA from Indias top management-school IIM Ahmedabad and an engineering undergrad from Delhi University He lives in the San Francisco Bay Area which he finds the right place from where to start a spiritual workplace revolution  With his wife Nina Ram Ekras also runs the Living Deeply Foundation a registered c non-profit to help fund Yoga Qi-Gong Meditation and Kirtan Music programs to bring balance and joy in the community.
