Yamuna Devi Dasi (Geneva Elise)

Her teaching is rooted in the Bhakti tradition, blending heart-centered devotion with mindful movement, breathwork, and self-inquiry. She specializes in Yin Yoga and Bhakti Vinyasa Flow, offering classes that balance stillness and surrender with embodied expression and devotional energy.Geneva completed her 200-hour teacher training with The Bhakti Yoga School in the Sacred Valley of Peru in 2017, an experience that profoundly shaped her understanding of yoga as both a spiritual and healing practice. She later returned to complete her 500-hour advanced certification, studying Ayurveda, Thai Massage, and Restorative Healing. During this time, she received a spiritual initiation into the Bhakti path from her teachers, Chaitanya Nitai Das and Shyam Vallabhi Devi Dasi, and was given her yogic name,Yamuna Devi Dasi—a reminder to stay immersed in the flow of life and embrace the constancy of change.In addition to teaching yoga, Geneva leads monthly kirtans in her local community, creating space for collective mantra chanting, connection, and joy. With a background in education, she brings warmth and accessibility to her teaching, inviting students of all ages and abilities to explore yoga as an act of love, curiosity, and devotion.
