About
I have been practicing yoga since 2000.
After practicing Iyengar for a few years I moved to other forms of Yoga including Ashtanga and various types of vinyasa flows. In 2016 I completed the 200-hour teacher training program at Down Under School of Yoga in Brookline where I studied under the direction of Barbara Benagh and Natasha Rizopolous. As I was looking for a less rigid approach to Yoga to allow the body to express itself more fluidly, in the Summer of 2018 I completed the 300-hour intensive course in Anukalana Yoga with Jacopo Ceccarelli at the Samadhi School of Yoga in Florence. I have been teaching yoga since 2016 at health clubs and at the Brookline Adult Education. While my approach to yoga reflects the many years of practice of different types of Yoga with different teachers, ranging from slower meditative to vigorous flow as well as attention to alignment, I am now fully dedicated to the practice of Anukalana® as I have been able to see its many benefits and the positive feedback of my students. In my teaching I try to make the physical practice not and end but a means to something more meaningful that can help us discover our true self.
