Gladys Smith is a Registered Yoga Teacher (E- RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with an approved and active Registered Yoga School (RYS).
Gladys is also a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Masters Addictions Counselor. She works with trauma and addictions in her counseling practice with clients. She combines mindfulness and cognitive behavioral to work with clients. EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, Brain Spotting and breath work are also used in a counseling session with Gladys. Gladys also has a doctorate in Psychology and uses the mind body connection in counseling and with yoga with students. She teaches community classes, at Washington University Medical school, conducts workshops and seminars on trauma, addiction and using yoga as apart of mental health and wellness.
