Yoga has been a source of strength and empowerment in Glenda’s life.
She has been practicing off and on for a decade, but finally decided to take the plunge into Dwi Pada’s 200-hour yoga teacher training, completed in Spring 2019! Yoga is just as much mental and spiritual stretching as it is physical stretching. What Glenda loves about yoga is how it translates off the mat. How practicing patience with your body as you move into asanas is how you practice patience in the world. How noticing the small changes that occur from one practice to the next help you notice the “little things” in life. How finding balance on your mat helps you find balance in your life. How learning grace towards yourself on your mat allows you to share that grace with the universe. Yoga can be eye-opening, mind-opening, and heart-opening. It’s a moving meditation where the beat of your heart and the rhythm of your breath align with the vibrations of the universe. Glenda is excited to share the practice of yoga with others as they find their work both on and off their mat!
