May/2018Gloria Oster is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with a Registered Yoga School (RYS).I have completed my Cleveland clinic Wellness Yoga teacher training Program offered at the Cleveland clinic, RYT200.

in 2018. Retired from the Cleveland Clinic as RN in 2019.Our training curriculum at the Cleveland clinic provided me with a strong foundation in traditional Hatha yoga. I was taught the essence of wellness yoga -that simple movements done mindfully can have a profound effect on physical health. there is no way to fully experience the value of yoga to your overall health until you actually experience it for yourself. I found Yoga to be an essential practice helping patients from aging before their time. 2018/2019 Cleveland Clinic employees - I taught hatha yoga to co-workers (Management jobs sit in front of computer) focused on neck and shoulder pain, gentle approach to the practice of yoga for those new to yoga. Good body alignment education on breathing techniques.Cleveland Clinic Transplant House- I taught hatha yoga to family members with stress related issues. Slower movements along with breath work, focused on flexing and stretching poses, with mind and body awareness.O'Neal of Fairview Health Center - sub instructor, taught facility employees, focused on fundamentals on yoga poses, creating a strong foundation for the practice of yoga Honor Yoga employee - A two-day class certification and hands on teaching. Taught Roots yoga, teaching strong foundation on yoga poses, precise alignment cues and use of props to support the practice.Zoom home Yoga 2021-2025 I taught home yoga on zoom during COVID to nursing colleagues, practice focusing on posture, Balance and staying mobile. Tuesday and Thursday morning practice, twice a week. April 2025-currently Teach at North Olmsted Rec Center, two three times a week, yoga practice includes chair yoga, beginning yoga and gentle yogaOctober 2025-currently M-O-V-E program, yoga, open to breast cancer survivors, safe flexibility, building strength, balance and staying motivated. Program helps to stay connected with other breast cancer survivors.
