I was first trained in Yoga by the great Yoga master Late P. Balakrishna Sarma from 1984 till 1987 in India. After practicing yoga for 20 years, in 2005 I got certified to teach by the International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Center (Neyyar Dam, India) where I took a 40 day residential teacher training course and was awarded the title "Yoga Siromani " for completing the training with distinction. I started teaching Yoga in India and subsequently in the US for the past 10+ years. I have experience in teaching one-on-one, and group classes for students of ages ranging from 16 to 75 with a special focus on ailment specific Yoga. I follow the Hatha Yoga style and also teach meditation.
