I've practiced yoga since 1998 and started teaching in 2007, introducing yoga's benefits to my fellow veterans during our regular physical training (PT) sessions.
After retiring in 2012, I attended an RYS-200 school and became a certified yoga instructor. Yoga teacher training redirected by path and I added to my holistic healing education with a Yoga and Ayurvedic Wellness Professional certification in 2015. Until April 2016, I taught a weekly YogaForVets class and a Chair Yoga class as well as substituting for beginner's yoga classes at Blissful Life Corporation -- a local non-profit yoga and wellness center. Currently, I'm the founder of Nadi Om Wellness, a 501(c)3 organization, in Southwest Ocala and the Lead Trainer of Elemental Energy Yoga Teacher Training. Besides offering gentle, Yin, and beginner Hatha Yoga classes with a Kripalu influence to our local community, you'll also find me practicing reflexology, Reiki, and offering private group classes and Ayurvedic Wellness education.
