Gregory White is currently registered with Yoga Alliance as an RYT-500 and is a Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher at the 3,000 hour level (Intermediate Junior 1). His initial study was with Fred Dowd in Dallas from 1996-2000. His current teacher is Randy Just. He trains and teaches in the Dallas area, attending many workshops with senior Iyengar-style yoga teachers Patricia Walden, Manouso Manos, Lois Steinberg, Jawahar Bengara, John Schumacher, Eddy Marks & Mary Obendorfer, H.S.
Arun, and Rajiv Chanchani. He has attended national conventions of the Iyengar Yoga National Association of the United States [IYNAUS]: 2007 (San Diego), 2010 (Portland, OR) and 2016 (Boca Raton, FL). In September 2011, he attended the Midwest Regional convention in Chicago. In December, 2014, he attended Yoganusasanam, a 10-day intensive celebrating the 70th birthday of Geeta Iyengar in Pune, India.
