Hannele Lahti

What began as a practice of quietly sitting lakeside with her grandfather evolved into a lifelong study in the art of observation. She began her yoga practice in college and found it provided her with the space and clarity she needed to navigate life’s challenges with fortitude and grace. After many years of experiencing the benefits that yoga brought to her life, she decided to deepen her practice through Beloved Yoga Sanctuary’s 200-hour teacher training with Maryam Ovissi in 2023. Also in 2023, Hannele completed a Pranayama and Mediation teacher training with Shiva Shakti School of Yoga under the guidance of Krishna Peter Perry and Aiyana Athenian. Through teaching, she hopes to inspire students to tune into the present moment and develop their own pathways to self-empowerment. Hannele is an accomplished photographer whose work focuses on the natural world, travel and the wonderful world of canines. She leads monthly dog-friendly hikes, mentors emerging photographers and serves on the local board of the American Photographic Artists.
