About
Danielle Pope believes every body has a story to tell — and creative movement can help us discover it.
Danielle is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance and completed her yoga teacher training through Ajna Yoga Centre in Victoria, B.C. She's also a writer, editor and The Story Midwife™, supporting people to move in creative new directions — through publishing or play. She leads writing and movement workshops and retreats in western Canada that aim to help people find their voices and reconnect with the stories their bodies have been waiting to share. She earned her degree in writing from the University of Victoria and has been a journalist in Canada for over two decades. She launched the yogic arm of her career in 2018. When she's not writing or moving, you can usually find Danielle playing with her young daughter, exploring the woods, reading poetry or doing the dishes — but not usually all at the same time.
