About
Heather Ernsberger, BSN-RN, E-RYT 200, RYT 500, YACEP, RPYT first experienced yoga when she tagged along with her sister to an Ashtanga class in 2005.
She began practicing yoga consistently in 2007 while pregnant with twins. Heather met her teacher Melanie McQuown at her local YMCA, and was immediately drawn to the playful, dynamic and intelligent practice of alignment-based yoga. Heather began teaching in 2013 and is a graduate of PeaceLab Yoga Shala's 200 and 300 hour Teacher Training programs led by Melanie McQuown. She trained in Prenatal Yoga with Lanita England of Gilbert Yoga. She continues to enrich her studies with a variety of additional teachers, including Christina Sell, Gioconda Parker, Darren Rhodes, Michelle Marchildon, Jason Crandall and Manorama. In Heather’s classes you will use body movement to cultivate connection to your inner awareness as you balance work, play and rest. She designs her classes and workshops to be fun and playful while safe and informative. Heather is also available for appointment-based individual and group instruction. Heather is most alive in warm weather, with her feet near the beach and her face in the sun.
