Hi! My name is Heather Hanchuk and I have been teaching yoga for over 4 years.
I hold a certification in trauma informed yoga and am eager to continue my path as a yoga instructor, welcoming new experiences in various areas. I hold certifications in sound healing, consisting of singing bowls and tuning forks which amplifies my certificate in the Chakra System and the use of crystals to aid in healing. I currently teach 4 steady, well attended classes locally. These classes consist of Chair Yoga, Candlelight Stretch & Flow yoga, Beginner Friendly yoga, and a higher level Yoga flow. Singing Bowls and Healing Sound Baths have become popular in the past year. I have been able to spread my healing abilities, holding sound baths at 2 locations per month with well attended sessions as well. I plan to continue my sound healing journey & looking into attaining my Reiki certification to further increase my ability to help others heal in holistic ways. I also am a Physical Therapist Assistant, Certified Athletic Trainer, and Certified Health Practitioner/Health Coach, working in home settings with seniors.
