When my first husband passed away in 2017, I realized that life is too short not to live with purpose every day.
And serving others with yoga is my purpose! After 20 years of personal yoga practice, and working in the corporate world, I decided to break free and get my RYT certification in 2019.In 2020 I opened a yoga studio in my neighborhood of East Cobb Marietta called gruvnYOGA one month before the COVID pandemic. We have been growing a strong community ever since and have been voted Best Yoga Studio in Cobb County for 4 years in a row. I am also certified to lead Y12SR meetings (Yoga for 12-Step Recovery) which we provide at my studio for those struggling with addiction. My specialty is Chair Yoga and I teach at my studio and at local senior communities, as well as leading a 12-hour Chair/Accessible yoga module in our YTT. Accessible yoga is what I love to teach and what we encourage at my studio.
