Heather has believed in the ability of yoga to transform lives from her first class at a Aiki Jiu Jitsu Dojo in Boston on September th Even in the midst of overwhelming tragedy yoga provided her solace providing mental space to process the loss and physical peace from the rigors of martial arts training That first class also sparked a desire to practice yoga which she continued to pursue long after her martial arts career ended Yoga has provided a framework for physical mental emotional and spiritual change that has allowed her to grow and change over the years and to meet life on lifes terms She believes strongly that yoga meets you where you are at as long as you are willing to bring your life to the mat on good and bad days Teaching yoga is a source of immense joy for Heather She has been blessed with tremendous students and feels privileged to be a part of her students own transformations She is a ERYT and an RYT Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance and completed training with a Registered Yoga School RYS She owns Little Bird Yoga Studio in Los Alamos NM.
