About
I started practicing yoga in 2010 at the local YMCA.
It was a stressful time in life and I found yoga helped my anxiety. The physical and mental benefits kept me going consistently for several years. In 2015 I suffered a fall and the injury left me unable to practice for a year. It was a long journey but it taught me patience and loving-kindness toward myself. It also gave me a new awareness and appreciation for my body. In 2017 I started practicing at Pilgrimage of the Heart and in 2018 I graduated with my YTT200 (Yoga Teacher Training) with an emphasis on body alignment and I’m Yoga Alliance Certified. I have experience working with all ages and abilities and especially enjoy working with beginner students and seniors. In 2019 I received advanced training in Chair Yoga to better assist people with injuries and limited mobility. In 2020 I received advanced training in Pranayama and use several breath techniques in my teaching. I’m currently seeing private clients and teaching online via Zoom. I am excited to share my knowledge and experience with others in hopes to help them on their journey to wholeness. I believe yoga is for every body.
