About
Heidi started her yoga journey reluctantly in the winter of 2005 when her friend dragged her into a Hot Yoga studio reluctantly.
After class she decided the path of yoga was the one she’d been seeking her whole life and dove heart first into a Hot Yoga Teacher training.“I have seen miracles happen to people, or seekers (a sadhaka) that have a constant and determined practice (abhyasa). Those who dare step into this practice will uncover and renew emotional wounds, physical disabilities, and enhance their lives.”Heidi never stops learning her portfolio of continuing education includes Hot Vinyasa, Power Vinyasa, Yin Yoga w/Paul Grilley and Sarah Powers, Pranic Breath work w/Darren Main, Yoga for Cancer Survivors w/Laura Kupperman, Restorative Yoga with Judith Lasater, Iyengar Yoga with Swati and Rajiv Chanchani and has received her 500 hour RYT certification as a Professional Yoga Teacher through IYT."Yoga goes way beyond the physical sheathes, it dives into the realm of spiritual enlightenment, and endless possibility. I teach yoga with a focus on anatomy, intensity, and humor.” Heidi facilitates special workshops on asana, anatomy, yoga nidra, meditation, and teaches a 50 hour Yin Yoga Intensive training. One of her favorite parts of teaching yoga is facilitating yoga retreats all over the world. Her hopes for the future is to study in Pune, India at the Iyengar Institute, but for now, she'll stick to Dehradun, India and continue studying w/the Chanchani's & team.www.yogawillow.com
