About
Heidi's training is in Yin and classical forms of Hatha and Ayurvedic yoga.
She believes that an inclusive, accessible, sacred space for individual and community growth are key components for a successful class. Bravery, compassion, curiosity, playfulness, connectedness and autonomy are celebrated and invited as possibilities for embodiment. Heidi enjoys weaving through-lines between traditional yoga and what she is learning from science today as an ongoing student of mindfulness modalities. Just as she recognizes the importance of honoring Yoga and Yins roots to India and China she is interested in learning how world traditions have influenced todays mindfulness movement. Heidi incorporates what she has learned from somatic trainings, flow state, and creativity into her yoga classes with a focus on breath and meditation. Her Yoga, Yin and mindfulness training teachers include Jill Tuleya and Alma Eaton, Ann Wagoner and Rama Jyoti Vernon, Mary Harju, Natasha Korshak, Sarasvati Karahan, Anika Devore, Sahar Yarjani, Jahan Djalali, Danielle Reghi, Rachel Brooks, and Susanna Barkataki. Currently she teaches seasonally in both Oregon and Minnesota and will be participating in retreat and festival venues in 2026
