Heidi Kok is a Registered Yoga Teacher RYT with Yoga Alliance which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with an approved and active Registered Yoga School RYS She is a certified Vinyasa Yoga Instructor receiving her RYT -hour certification from Joschi Yoga Institute in New York City She has taught yoga all over the United States from New York City to California She finds yoga special because it unites the body mind spirit and emotions in an energizing and positive activity that helps people feel more centered and calm equipping them to deal with all aspects of life with a more open and positive approach This is a wonderful gift and she loves sharing this gift with others She is also certified to teach Trauma-informed Yoga for Youth through Yoga Ed She is passionate about helping children to learn the resources they need to deal with traumatizing experiences and bringing awareness to this public health crisis She has been a dancer for &#; years with training in Ballet Modern Jazz and Tap She grew up in Ohio and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theater and Dance from Otterbein College She then moved to New York City where for eight years she worked as a professional dancer/singer/actor in musical theater Some of her favorite performance credits include the Broadway National Tour of Oklahoma! Spamalot and Mary Poppins Her background in dance has given her not only a great respect and knowledge of the body but it has also made her passionate about keeping the body in good health and helping others to care for their bodies in the best way possible She is excited to support and encourage you and help you find a way to care for your body that is best for you.
