I began practicing yoga in 2012 while recovering from recurring injuries sustained from years of long-distance running and intense workouts.
I soon realized the many benefits that practicing yoga offered, not only physically but mentally and spiritually. In addition to building strength, stability, endurance and flexibility, yoga enhanced my overall health from the inside out, reducing stress, bringing calmness, and clarity of mind. Yoga helped me overcome the injuries that had slowly begun to define me and inhibit my quality of life.
