She has over nine years of experience and more than 5000 hours of teaching students in her community.Teaching History:Hollie spent her first year teaching in a variety of settings, quickly becoming one of the areas only "full-time" yoga teachers. Early into her second year, she was contracted through the state's largest behavioral health hospital to teach patients how to integrate breathing, movement, and meditation practices into daily life to bolster physical and mental health.At the start of 2020, she came aboard as an employee of the hospital under the newly created position of Yoga Program Manager. It was her responsibility to implement innovative programming that introduced creative complements to methods already in place for enhanced patient care and employee wellness.Hollie taught various yoga methodologies to all the hospital’s inpatient and outpatient populations in accessible formats by guiding participants through comprehensive and approachable sequences easily implemented upon discharge. She worked collectively with healthcare professionals throughout the hospital to provide specialized programming for service members and those in addiction recovery, frequently dedicated one-on-one time to patients in need of special consideration and attention, and successfully put into practice a 20-day yoga program for the Partial Hospitalization Program.Hollie left the hospital in June of 2023 to open a space specializing in the therapeutic application of yoga to encourage and support a holistic approach to well-being.
