I first found my way to the yoga mat in the summer of while working at Walden Behavioral Cares inpatient program for eating disorders I was humbled to see people in great pain finding solace in the yoga practice I began to play around with my own practice enjoying the space it gave me to feel strong in my body I would attend an occasional Bikram or Power yoga class throughout my s but had yet developed a regular practice After giving birth to my son in I would break up the day by exploring the city of Lowell where I live I stumbled across Sutra Studio at Mill no and found a community that has brightened the way I live bringing yoga into my life both on and off the mat My goal for each class that I teach is to bring awareness of ourselves how we stand and how we speak off our mats and into the world.
