Indigo Monae is a Registered Yoga Teacher RYT with Yoga Alliance which acknowledges the completion of yoga teacher training with a Registered Yoga School RYSIndigo began her yogic path in and has since trained in many forms of Meditation and Yoga Indigo is E-RYT -hour certified teaching since and lives a yogic lifestyle Following the Ashtanga lineage studying with Kino McGregor and Sharath Jois in Mysore India She has completed Vipassana meditations and studied multiple forms of mindfulness and meditation practices Indigo is the founder of Yoga Gardens NFP a local organization that teaches mindfulness practices to at-risk youth and adults on Chicagos West Side Yoga Gardens NFP feeds the community with non-GMO fruits and veggies grown at the gardens and has created a yoga company to aid with income to freely do this beautiful work Indigo is a world traveler on the yogi path and continues her journey as a teacher and student trying to be the change she wishes to see.
