I spent more than 20 years working in the government, legal and corporate sectors.
I was constantly looking for creative ways to unwind and disconnect, to incorporate exercise and mindfulness into my daily routine, but I knew I needed more. I did my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at the Yoga House in Kingston, New York and received my Health Coaching Certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. As I spent time building my personal practice and teaching on the side, I decided it was time to take my career in a very different direction and focus on teaching full time. I create a warm, authentic experience for my students that provides an opportunity to quiet the mind and engage the body. We focus on bringing mindfulness into our movement and connecting to the breath. Each of us is coming from a different starting point, but the most important thing is to take the first step to developing a practice -- understanding limitations, providing creative modifications, and reveling in the possibilities!
