Isabel Fernandes

Combined with her passion for yoga, Isabel’s other certifications in Personal Training, Older Adult Fitness Specialist, Nutritional Counselling, Nordic Waking Instruction, and Thai Yoga Massage, allow her to offer a more holistic (and fun!) approach to those around her. As a graduate of YogaFit Training Systems Worldwide, Inc. - “yoga for everybody and every body” – and a registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance (E-RYT200 + 100hr YogaFit for Warriors), Isabel has enjoyed leading yoga practices for over 14 years. She loves sharing the many benefits of practicing yoga! Her certification as a trauma-sensitive yoga teacher has provided her the tools to help those suffering from physical and/or emotional trauma. Isabel feels fortunate to have had the opportunity to offer personal training and group fitness classes while an employee at the YMCA, and fitness classes through Springwater Township. She believes variety and creativity make the classes fun! Currently, Isabel teaches group classes at the Wasaga Beach Yoga Studio, and in Anten Mills and Elmvale through Springwater Township. She's honoured to also offer small group workshops and private/semi-private lessons.
