Hi my name is Isabelle I am a French Canadian from Quebec My yoga journey began in when the pandemic closed gyms and led me to trade weights for a yoga mat From my very first practice yoga felt like home—a sanctuary where I could challenge my body through strength and intensity while also challenging my mind through presence and acceptance In my classes I invite students into a dynamic balance of effort and ease control and release I believe in the magic of finding comfort in discomfort a practice that prepares us to meet lifes challenges with resilience and grace At the heart of my teaching is the conviction that yoga is a journey of healing self-discovery and deep reconnection with the wisdom of the body I hold a masters degree in Mental Health and wrote my thesis on the integration of yoga into psychotherapy I am currently pursuing a second masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Naropa University in Boulder Colorado with a concentration in Somatic Counseling My mission is to bring together the wisdom of yoga and the depth of somatic psychotherapy to support trauma healing and cultivate greater wholeness Yoga has been a refuge for me—helping to transform old wounds and reawaken my authentic self—and I am committed to offering this same possibility to others I am passionate about guiding you back to your inner power My role is not to “fix” you but to walk beside you offering tools and practices that reconnect you to your own innate capacity for healing Through this work I hope to help you show up more fully in your life—as the strongest kindest and most authentic version of yourself Join me on Instagram at @riseandsoulshineyoga and lets embark on this journey together.
