To escape a stressful job as a graphic designer in New Jersey, Isabelle « fell under the spell » of yoga in 1998.
In 2000, she completed her first 200-hour yoga training in a Sivananda yoga school in Freehold, NJ. Following her initial qualification, she completed two levels of The Radiant Child Yoga program. In 2002, Isabelle attended her first Anusara class and fell in love with this uplifting style of yoga. In 2006, Isabelle and her family moved to the Netherlands where she then committed herself to a 200-hour training program of Anusara yoga. In 2011, her family moved again, but this time in Belgium, near Brussels. There, she developed her own yoga business, teaching for everyone, from adults, prenatal, postnatal, and children. She conducted her own yoga camps for children aged 3 to 12. She also has led workshops and immersions for teachers and Thai Yoga massage. She is now happily settled in Northern Virginia, where she finished a 50-hour training in Yin Yoga with Yael Flusberg in 2017 and SPA yoga training with Betty Riaz in 2019. When Izzy is not on her mat, she enjoys walking her dog and other dogs, traveling, and cooking with her family. I have a new YouTube channel: Izzy Prana Yoga
