A yogi since 2010, Elissa is an ex-professional dancer and yogi currnetly based in Brooklyn, NY.
She was inspired to teach yoga while living overseas in Cartagena, Colombia because of the incredible interest in Yoga but lack of teachers. She earned her RYT 200 with LifePower Yoga in Reston, Virginia; RYT 300 with Matt Giordano of Chromatic Yoga; Trauma Informed Yoga Instructor certified by Exhale to Inhale; Certified Prenatal Yoga Instructor through Yoga Education Institute. You can follow her on Instagram at @gesticulate. Elissa teaches Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Yin Yoga and Meditation in both English and Spanish.
