I began practicing yoga in as a good way to return to my body after taking a break from my professional dance career In at the urging of neighbors friends and a local fitness center I agreed to give teaching a try and have been leading a practice ever since I currently teach public classes in Sutter Creek and Mokelumne Hill CA and offer one-on-one sessions in a private studio in Sutter Creek I am a graduate of Piedmont Yogas Deep Yoga training in Oakland CA under the direction of Richard Rosen and Baxter Bell the hour program at Yoga Tree San Francisco where my focus was on alignment and healthy practices for human yogis Restorative Yoga I & II with Judith Hanson Lasater and Yoga for the Pelvic Floor with Leslie Howard.
