About

Jamie (she/her/hers) took her first yoga class in 2012 but never fully connected to the practice.

She spent the next few years taking classes sporadically without much success or interest. It was not until March 2020 that she decided to devote time daily to yoga as a way to help alleviate her stress and calm her mind. This time she found the connection she had been searching for years ago. She decided to attend yoga teacher training at Moonbird Yoga in 2021 to deepen her personal practice and understanding of yoga. Jamie is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with a Registered Yoga School (RYS). Outside of yoga, you will find her exploring St. Louis, hanging out with her family and friends, and spending time with her dog Athena. Jamie works in social services and has a Master of Social Work from Saint Louis University. Jamie is currently pursing her 300 Yoga Teacher Training Certification with My Vinyasa Practice.
