About

Honing deep levels of refinement, while opening into the formless mystery.

Raised in The Garden of the Gods in Colorado, I have experienced most of my life in close relation to nature—in an exploration of continually deepening into Spirit, and discovering more and more layers of this human experience. Yoga is one of my favorite life teachers. It comes into the being in the same way that the breath comes in—flowing, moving, rhythmic. Every time, this practice of union is a different color, a different texture, and dances with my own dance of life. My role in this life seems to be simple: to listen, to release, to flow. It is a gift and a blessing to be in the continual sharing of discovery with others along the beautiful and mysterious path of life.  As time has unfolded, I find myself prioritizing (and thus living), what is most sacred and valuable to me. Currently, this is to step deeply into my own internal wisdom, and to be in the creative dance with others who are deeply in the exploration of their own journey. As for my background in Yoga, I began practicing Iyengar yoga in 2000 with Stephanie Streff. Later, I studied Hatha with Patricia Hansen, and Hansa Knox. Living in Denver, Colorado—I had the opportunity to take classes with many very gifted teachers like Mike Matsumara, Julietta Claire, Desi Springer, Richard Freeman, and Amy Ippoliti. In 2009 I received my RYT 200 with Vedantin Ping Luo. This was my first experience with the Andean Shamanic traditions, and yet it felt completely at home to me, having grown up around Native American culture and feeling so deeply connected to the Earth and to ritual. After that training, yoga became woven fully into my life and immediately dove into sharing yoga wherever I was, guiding classes, facilitating workshops and retreats, and taking the time to find teachers I had deep resonance with. In 2012 & 2013, I was able to fulfill a long-awaited desire to have deep retreat time on a solo journey to India.  I lived at a Gurukulam in Southern India with my teacher Pujya Swami Dayananda Saraswati, where a potent blossom of my heart began to open as threads of an old tapestry were able to unravel. In 2014 I received my RYT 500 on the sacred land of the Mystical Yoga Farm on Lake Atitlan with Vedantin Ping Luo, Ananda Page, and Jiya Randall. Directly after this potent experience, I began living at the Farm as the Spiritual Space Holder where I deepened into my experience of what it is to listen ever more deeply, and to be present with the exploration of how to lead without leading—since everything we ever need to know is always present within us. May we continue to find the things which bring us into alignment with this. To all my relations Namaste
