Janet Hannaford is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with an approved and active Registered Yoga School (RYS).
She has created her own style of yoga that integrates anatomy and wellness, Flexible for Life Yoga. Flexible for Life Yoga is an all levels non-competitive class designed to improve strength and maintain flexibility that normally decreases with aging and muscle building. Each class includes an all body stretch then takes an anatomical focus on a portion of the body. More difficult pose options are offered, as are props and accommodations to support personal development. Breathing techniques are taught to help soothe life’s stress. Class ends with savasana, a pose of total relaxation intended to rejuvenate the body, mind, and spirit. Come and join our caring and supportive community! Get moving, stay moving, get Flexible For Life! Janet is also a Children's yoga teacher. She has created numerous programs designed for children from preschool to 8th grade including: Y.O.G.A. (designed for ASD/DCD students in school setting), Yoga Dabba Doo! Yoga Power, Eagles in the Moment, Adoption Day Camp yoga program for 1st - 8th grades.
