Janet Mittelstadt has embraced yoga as part of her daily life since She is most inspired by BKS Iyengar and her teachers who follow his spiritual path Janet is filled with joy and believes that yoga is accessible to everyone Her favorite pose is Kurmasana the tortoise pose and she is progressing along the path towards a certificate in the Iyengar tradition of yoga Her weekly practice and advanced studies occur at the Milwaukee Yoga Center MYC where she also attended three-day workshops with Mary Obendorfer and Eddy Marks San Diego Iyengar Yoga Center and Hawaii three-day workshops with John Schumacher Unity Woods Washington DC area and two teacher training workshops with John Schumacher in and This summer she attended a workshop by Manouso Manos at the MYC and in fall she traveled to a workshop hosted by Unity Woods in Washington DC taught by Birjoo Mehta from India She is a member of Iyengar Yoga National Association of the United States.
