Janne (pronounced Yanna) is co-director and co-developer of the Innerlight 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training program and a senior teacher at Innerlight Center for Yoga.

Janne is certified by Dr. Fishman in his method of Yoga for Osteoporosis. She is also certified in Warm Water Yoga which is exceptionally beneficial for osteoarthritis and other conditions. She has led yoga retreats to St John USVI and taught yoga in many locations beyond the studio, on the lakeshore of Upper Saranac Lake in the Adirondacks, on Lake Umbagog in Maine, in barns and schools and forests. Janne is currently co-teaching the 10th Innerlight 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training with Kim Chandler. She also teaches Yoga for Building Bones and Balance weekly at Innerlight in Middletown, RI. Janne's training includes the first YTT at Innerlight (1998) and a 200-hour Anusara-based course with Todd Norian (2003). She has studied with Kim Chandler, Tom Gillette, Todd Norian, Ann Greene, John Friend, Doug Keller, Martin Kirk, Jenny Otto, Judith Lasater, Betsey Downing, Ray Long, MD, Sharon Salzburg, Peggy Cappy and Esther Gokhale. She has also studied suspension yoga on the OmGym with Sarah Kellett. "My experience with yoga is that it is a life changing force. Yoga develops strength and flexibility, focus and confidence and a sense of connection with a spirit greater than just me. Yoga grounds me and at the same time opens possibilities.
