About
I've been teaching yoga in NYC since 1998, and have been a licensed massage clinician since 2006. I have taught at many of the major studios in New York, and in 2010 opened the Zenyasa Yoga & Wellness Studio, where I currently teach slow-flow yoga with an emphasis on mindfulness and alignment. I also teach anatomy workshops and trainings, and am the founder of Anatomy Studies for Yoga Teachers (ASFYT), which is a 108-hour continuing education course for experienced yoga teachers seeking to deeper their knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy, injury awareness/prevention and the kinesiology of yoga asana.
Besides Zenyasa and ASFYT, my other passion is bodywork. I have a private practice where I offer neuromuscular massage, myofasical release, deep tissue and relaxation massage. You can learn more about me at www.jasonraybrown.com.
