About

Jeanie loves to appreciatively experience life and to empower others to do the same.

She has a talent for inspiring others and has spent her adult life exploring, volunteering and teaching in various capacities around the world. She was introduced to yoga through her travels and discovered that the philosophy of Patanjali’s eight-limbed path fit well with her worldview. Since then, yoga has been a consistent positive force in her life.   Jeanie is thrilled to have completed Midtown Yoga's 2015 200-hour Teacher Training Program so that she has the opportunity to share the joys of yoga with others. To Jeanie, “yoga is a practice on and off the mat: it is a way of living that holistically opens us up to our inner Self.” In her classes, she aims to empower students to develop their minds, bodies and spirits in a personal practice that serves their lives.
