J Howells they/ them I am a RYT - Yoga Alliance Certified Yoga Instructor specializing in fun and dynamic Vinyasa flows with an emphasis on alignment and breath work I came to yoga from a gymnast background and discovered a love of movement and understanding the internal form As a teacher I am influenced by my Ashtanga Vinyasa practice and incorporate classical āsanas along with arm balances and inversions in a fun and playful way I seek to open students up to all limbs of yoga by applying the latest yoga therapeutic research and Tantric philosophy as a supportive groundwork in a meditative flow practice I believe through the practice of yoga we quiet our minds open our hearts and embrace our true essence while shedding the illusions of ego Off the mat I enjoy climbing running and studying Hindu mythology and philosophy.
