Jeanna Riscigno

She has dedicated her life to the art and therapeutic nature of movement as a Performing Artist and Somatic Practitioner. She received her B.F.A in Dance Performance from Towson University, is a 200 RYT through Yogamour’s Trauma Informed Social Justice Yoga Teacher Training, and is certified in Functional Awareness. Jeanna is passionate about her work with children, building a space for inclusivity, empowerment, integration, and growth. Her teaching approach is centered around the discovery of one’s dynamic alignment, improving the body’s accessibility, mobility, resilience and overall wellbeing. She has performed with dance companies on both the East and West coast, including Disney Cruise Lines, Kybele Dance Theater, Benita Bike's DanceArt Company, Alternative Dance Project, Kinetics Dance Theater, and Deep Vision Dance Company. Jeanna co founded and was co artistic director of LucidBeings Dance along with creative partner Franki Graham from 2017-2019. Most notibly, LucidBeings' work was selected and presented at Maryland Choreographer’s Showcase (2018), Baltimore Dance Invitational (2018), VelocityDC Dance Festival (2017), and the Richmond Dance Festival (2017 and 2018). She is currently celebrating her 6th consecutive year with 24/7 Dance Studio as an Early Education Director, Dance Instructor, and Rehearsal Director for their PRIDE Company. In her free time, Jeanna loves traveling, backpacking, dabbling in all things arts & crafts and is a proud mom to her rescue turtle, Tye.
