Jennifer Jennette, E-RYT, RCYT, YACEP is a long-time yoga student, teacher and enthusiast since taking her first series of Iyengar Yoga classes in January 1994.
She has been a member of Yoga Alliance since completing her first Yoga Teacher Training at the Triad Yoga Institute in 2004. Also an AMI trained Montessori teacher, Jennifer has been described by her students as knowledgeable about yoga philosophy and culture and the human body, and to be welcoming, generous, creative, and full of joy. Jennifer encourages safety, attention, personal responsibility, and lighthearted curiosity while adapting her teaching methods to meet the unique needs of each class or client. Through her training and study with many renowned teachers, and years of diverse professional teaching, she has developed a strong background in classical, Raja yoga with a concentration on the restorative and therapeutic benefits of yoga. She finds great joy in learning and sharing the mythology of yoga, and aims to live guided by Ayurvedic principles. She has also completed Level 1 training in the technique of Thai Yoga bodywork with Robert Wooten.
