Jennifer Rathbun has been a student of yoga for decades and realized her dream of becoming a -hour yoga instructor during the pandemic receiving her trauma-informed certification in yoga and mindfulness through Yoga Farm Ithaca in After over years as a public school and studio dance instructor she is joyfully incorporating her knowledge of somatic movement and technique into her yoga practice creating a new pathway for the next chapter of her movement journey as both a student and a teacher Jenns practices are infused with a sense of curiosity humor and gentle observation encouraging individual exploration choice and creativity Her flows often contrast thoughtful moments of stillness with playful improvisational movement while maintaining a focus on breath work allowing students to tap into their natural intuition and awareness while building confidence and strength both on and off the mat She is delighted to share the joy of yoga with her students and strives to make her classes an accessible space for yogis of all abilities to explore and enjoy movement as they pursue their own personal development When shes not on her mat you can usually find her working behind the scenes at her theater job cooking up a storm for her family or hunting for shells at the beach in any season.
